Latin Builders Association(R) Hosts Senator George LeMieux, Candidate for Senate 2012, at May Monthly Luncheon

  • Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) May 04, 2011 - The Latin Builders Association® (LBA), the largest Hispanic construction association in the United States, will host Senator George LeMieux, Candidate for Senate 2012, at the monthly luncheon on Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Big Five Club (600 SW 92nd Avenue, Miami, Florida).

    Senator George LeMieux was appointed to serve as Florida's 34th United States Senator. Currently, he is a shareholder with the law firm Gunster and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Senator LeMieux previously served as the Governor's Chief of Staff and as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Florida.

    "We are extremely excited to have Senator George LeMieux address our association again and communicate to our membership his platform as a candidate for Senate 2012," said Noelia E. Moreno, President, Latin Builders Association®.     At the luncheon, the LBA will also pay tribute to Cuba's Independence Day, 20 de Mayo. The Association will commemorate Cuba's Independence Day and celebrate the country's formal independence from Spain, but the tribute will be bitter sweet as we continue to work every day towards a free Cuba.
