Landscaping takes off for Tilhill Forestry

  • (1888PressRelease) June 03, 2017 - Tilhill Forestry, Stirling - As previous winners of many British Association of Landscape Industry (BALI) awards, Tilhill has a strong track record in the landscaping business and with the return of two highly experienced contracts managers, James Langdon and Chris Williams, the company is already winning impressive contracts.

    An extensive soft landscaping scheme for a housing development at Thannington Park, in Canterbury, has been completed. The work included screening, planting, mitigation planting and ecological planting. At the other end of the country a project has been completed on the Isle of Skye. Operations included clearance of existing vegetation, followed by ground preparation and tree planting. The final phase included protecting the trees and erecting a perimeter deer fence.

    Tilhill Forestry's landscaping operation is BALI registered, fully ISO accredited, SafeContractor approved and is in the process of obtaining Constructionline accreditation. Tilhill can also work for Highways England after being approved for The National Highways Sector Scheme 18. Services include: tree planting; hedging; fencing works; habitat restoration, creation and mitigation; site clearance; maintenance; park restoration and grassland creation.
