  • (1888PressRelease) September 12, 2018 - Children these days are very competitive and healthy competitions have always been successful in boosting up enthusiasm in children. Now there is one more competition that students can look upto.

StoryMirror, India's biggest online platform for short stories and poems is launching biggest ever School Writing Competition - 'StoryMirror Schools Writing Competition (SSWC 2018)'.

The great news is that the competition is not only for students but for teachers too. Teachers invest so much time of their lives in building up future of their students without expecting anything in return. Therefore, StoryMirror thought this is high time to appreciate the teachers, by launching a competition for them as well.

The competition is aimed to spark up the energy of participants and help them incline towards writing. Penning down thoughts forms an extremely important essence to build up the vision of young minds making them grab the uniqueness of the world approaching.
SSWC 2018 will invite stories & poems in English as well as Hindi from students of class 4th to 12th. Besides, there will be a separate competition category for all the teachers as well. StoryMirror is planning to reach out to nearly 10,000+ schools. SSWC 2018 is speculating to grab a participation of around 3 Lakh+ students.

StoryMirror will be launching this competition in association with eminent brands of noble endeavour.

Students are usually occupied in extracurricular in schools which mostly involves cultural activities but this competition is focussing on adding a special space for literature. Another genre for teachers and students to adhere to.

It would be the first ever competition for teachers and would certainly help them to break the monotony and step out of the box and participate. Prizes will be distributed at school, state and national level. StoryMirror is also looking forward for creative writing and poetry workshops in schools. The competition will be launched at the end of Sept 2018. As no other day would be more apt to scale up the zeal amongst teachers and students rather than Teacher’s day.
