"International Poultry Expo (IPE) 2012 has been great this week. There has been tremendous interest in GREENCOAT®, both domestically and internationally, as poultry companies are looking to move away from the use of waxed packaging.

    GREENCOAT® Wax-Free Corrugated Boxes

GREENCOAT® is a compostable, FBA-certified, 100% recyclable and repulpable packaging solution for transporting products that require durable moisture-resistant corrugated packaging.

GREENCOAT® boxes can withstand shifts from cold-to-hot environmental conditions, high exposure to moisture, rough handling, long storage and transportation. The innovative durable corrugated container offers the same strength as waxed boxes, without the carbon footprint and landfill disposal costs. They are also easier to glue than waxed boxes.

Interstate Container Cambridge, MD and Interstate Container Columbia, SC, manufacture the sustainable corrugated boxes that pack poultry, meat, seafood, floral and fresh fruit and vegetable produce. The plants control 100% of GREENCOAT®'s manufacturing process and do not outsource the coating of paper to third parties, increasing cost effectiveness.
