GrayCell Wins CSR Excellence Awards - We Care
GrayCell Technologies Exports has been awarded the "CSR Excellence Awards - We Care" by the Amity Global Business School, Chandigarh for contribution in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility.
- (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2013 - Amity had organized one of the biggest events of the Tricity region, The Corporate Meet and CSR Awards-We Care on November 22, 2013, at the CII, Chandigarh. The Amity Chandigarh CSR Awards-We Care are the first of its kind initiated by any B-School in the region to recognize exemplary contributions in the field of Corporate Social responsibility by the Corporate Houses in and around the Tricity.
The GrayCell Team was recognized for its various initiatives undertaken in the Social arena among the local community. GrayCell has a dedicated CSR Team that acts as a focal point for the organization's social endeavors. The GCT Team organizes tree plantation drives, blood donation camps and donations collection for local NGO's like Missionaries of Charity and Prabh-Asra.
The GrayCell Team has been working with the local chapter of the Young Indians (Yi) at the Learning Centre in Kaimbvala, a village near Chandigarh. The GrayCell Team holds regular weekend classes to promote computer education among the underprivileged kids. GrayCell has sponsored the monthly expenses of the Centre as well. GrayCell organizes Annual blood donation camps with the last one being held in the first week of November where more than 60 units of blood were collected.
