  • (1888PressRelease) February 27, 2011 - PHILADELPHIA, PA - Genji Sushi, purveyor of all-natural sushi and Japanese cuisine at 130 Whole Foods Markets on the East Coast and in San Francisco, has launched a "We ♥ Sushi!" Facebook contest. Through March 12, fans are encouraged to upload pictures of themselves enjoying Genji sushi from their mobile devices for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Whole Foods Market.

To simplify the contest submission process, Genji has affixed Post-it® notes to its sushi cases and sushi packets featuring a special QR code that will bring customers directly to Genji's Facebook page when scanned with a smartphone. Through this simple scan, customers will be able to upload a picture and comment instantly, right from the convenience of their local Genji Sushi bar. Customers can also simply upload photos of themselves from any phone or their home computer and upload to Facebook directly. Contest winners will be selected each Friday to receive a $25 Whole Foods Market gift certificate.

"This contest provides a great opportunity for us to interact with our customers and learn more about why they are passionate about Genji Sushi," said Ken Blakeman, Director of Marketing for Genji, Inc. "Placing these special notes on our sushi will also make it easier for customers to communicate with us and upload submissions whenever it is most convenient for them."
