  • (1888PressRelease) July 27, 2012 - The forum is a key event in the national contest of innovation projects (NKIP), a unique platform for interaction and cooperation between young innovators and innovation managers, experts and potential investors. The number of registered participants this year exceeded 600 people.

    Elena Fadeeva, General Director of Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard, moderated the "Innovative product Promotion " section dedicated to creating innovative projects and raising awareness about them. This takes into account the type of project, national and local features.

    The following people took part in the discussion: Michael Dvorkovich, social activist; Dmitry Postelnik, Head of educational programs at Autodesk in Russia and the CIS; Arseny Tarasov, General Director for Russia and the CIS at Adobe Systems; Victoria Wirta, Advisor to General Director at OJSC Interregional Transit Telecom; Victoria Fastovets, Head of SMM at the "Oy-Lee" company; Elena Kuznetsova, project manager of corporate and financial communications at the Primum agency.

    During the discussion, participants shared their views on the following issues: Mechanisms for the effective implementation of youth innovation projects, how to commercialise innovative ideas, perspectives of educational programs in the field, errors made and solutions obtained while promoting innovative projects and partnering with the media in promoting start-ups. Questions which raised a particularly lively discussion concerned results of economic projects in the case of state orders, differences between modernization and innovation, KPI for promotion and sales.

    As a part of her speech, Elena Fadeeva presented a case focused on the international experience of promoting innovative communication projects by using the example of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). It is an international university for graduate and postgraduate education, located on a 129 square kilometers facility and designed for more than 20,000 students and teachers. The university is one of the pillars of the knowledge economy of Saudi Arabia and one of the largest infrastructures in the world. It is the first in Saudi Arabia's educational set up which has received a LEED certificate in the field of energy conservation and environmental management (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

    "Innovation is not only about projects in the IT field. They should cover all parts of life, including communications. During communication work with innovative projects it is necessary to explore the goals, objectives and target audience of the project in order to understand the basic features of its work and positioning. Firms must take into account the increasing role of mobile channels to communicate with their users and use the mechanisms of cross-promotion, as their audience is not interested in direct advertising ", - said Elena Fadeeva, General Director of Fleishman-Hillard Vangurad.

    The Forum concluded with a formal award ceremony of for the "100 innovative leaders of Russia." winners. The final event was attended by over 500 people - representatives from the executive and legislative branches, venture capital funds, angel investors, experts and academics, and young innovators participated in the contest.
