  • (1888PressRelease) January 04, 2012 - Frog works directly with over 600 schools and has captured the successes and the mistakes that these schools have made with technology in the past. Using this knowledge, they have developed a powerful measurement tool that goes beyond teaching and learning. The tool shows them how effective they are in saving time, money and improving behaviour in areas such as marketing, parental engagement and transition.

The Frog team will be on stand M50 to help schools identify the areas of school life they want to improve upon and how their learning platform can help them do it. Once schools have a vision, Frog provides them with hundreds of real-life examples on how to achieve it.

Visitors to Frog's stand can speak to secondary schools, primary schools and academies to see the positive impact Frog is having in their schools. They will share examples of how they have saved time, money and improved teaching and learning using Frog.

Lucy Evans, Head of School Improvement at Frog says: "We offer a range of services to schools that aligns their learning platform to their own school's development plan. We help them to see what success looks like and show them how they can get there. The key to the framework and services we provide isn't just about measuring the impact of technology; it's about using the knowledge gained to actually change how the school operates."

Frog will be sharing this knowledge at the Education Leaders Conference on 11 and 12 January alongside The BETT Show.

Gareth Davies, Managing Director at Frog will be speaking at the conference directly after Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove, alongside Billy Downie, Head Teacher from The Streetly School.

Gareth and Billy will be discussing the real returns that schools can achieve real returns on their technology investments, with The Streetly School sharing their experience of saving £80,000 through their learning platform.

Gareth says: "Academy, school and college finances are constantly in the spotlight - every penny must have an impact. Investment in new technology can sometimes seem like another expense that school leaders could do without. We want to show how learning platforms go way beyond what you would normally expect.

"Billy will join me to discuss how technology becomes the hub of your school and explore some practical ideas on how to use technology is key to whole school improvement."

Frog has been shortlisted for ICT Company of the Year (Over £3 million turnover) at the BETT 2012 Awards. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on the first night of BETT - 11 January 2012.
