  • (1888PressRelease) April 28, 2011 - Dubai, 26 April 2011 - Eton Institute, the UAE's largest language training centre, will be offering a free German language course in the month of May in celebration of the Institute's recent opening in the Austrian capital of Vienna. The institute offers a free language course every month, from its diverse range of over 100 languages as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to encourage cross-cultural appreciation and diversity.

German is the most widely spoken first language in Europe and the third most popular foreign language in the world. Spoken mainly in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland, the German language has always had a key place in international business and policy making. In recent times, the language has also been gaining popularity as a means of exploring the unconventional and contemporary art, music and film culture of the German-speaking world.

Moaz Khan, Marketing Manager, Eton Institute, remarked "A lot of us already know a little bit of German without realising it. German and English are close cousins, originating from the same Germanic language family. While the grammar is quite different, the vocabulary has a number of similarities which makes it easier for English speakers to recognise the meaning of German words."

Eton Institute, with training centres in Dubai and Vienna, offers students a truly vibrant and multicultural learning experience. Free courses every month, enjoyable cultural events and support for non-profit organisations all make up the Institute's active Corporate Social Responsibility policy. The Institute has also recently announced that it would be hosting its third annual non-profit event Better U - 2011 | Mind, Body and Soul, on Saturday, 28 May. This signature event expected to attract over 2000 attendees, will feature over a 100 activities, prizes and live performances absolutely for free for all members of the public. Interested organisations, media and individuals are encouraged to contact the Institute at earliest for more information about how they may be a part of this community event.

The FREE German course will be conducted three times a week, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, throughout the month, starting 05 May. Keeping in mind the high demand and limited places available, the institute will be announcing registration details only through its Facebook and Twitter community pages to members and followers. Individuals are encouraged to join Eton Institute on Facebook or Twitter to receive the latest updates about how and when they may register for the free German course.
