  • Charleston-North Charleston, SC (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2011 - Franchise Clique, one of the nation's fastest growing Internet-based marketing companies, is sponsoring a co-ed softball team.

"One of the benefits of our recent growth is giving back to the community," says chief executive officer Dave Schwartz. "Our goal was to find a way to sponsor local young professionals in a way that allowed participants to network, become more involved in the community and to have fun at the same time."

The Franchise Clique Fastballs will first take the field in June at the Mt. Pleasant Recreational Department. Three of Franchise Clique's employees, including Schwartz, will be playing on the team along with other young professionals from the Lowcountry.

"It's great to spend time and network with a group of area young professionals," says Matthew Pierce, who plays on the co-ed softball team and recently graduated from the College of Charleston Graduate School with a master's degree in accountancy. "Networking in this way is pressure-free because we're all just having fun."

The Franchise Clique Fastballs' season begins in June and runs through July.
