  • Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) October 26, 2019 - Adaptiva, a leading, global provider of endpoint management and security solutions for enterprise customers, today announced that former Oracle, Microsoft, and NetSuite executive, Doug Kennedy, has joined the company as its chief growth officer. Kennedy will draw on his three decades of enterprise technology experience to lead Adaptiva’s business development, strategic relationships, and channel programs. Kennedy comes to Adaptiva as the company expands its best-of-breed product lines and introduces a groundbreaking vulnerability management solution, Evolve VM, that can scan the entire National Vulnerability Database within 15 minutes before automatically working to remediate issues with unprecedented speed and scale.

“Doug is an extraordinarily gifted executive who has remarkable experience activating every growth lever,” said Deepak Kumar, founder and president of Adaptiva. “Doug’s leadership will open doors and enable Adaptiva to accelerate its aggressive growth plans. I look forward to working with him as we move into a phase of hyper growth.”

Throughout his career, Kennedy has led a wide variety of programs and initiatives for some of the world’s biggest enterprise technology companies. His work has spanned partnerships, channel programs, sales, marketing, customer life cycle management, and support services.

Most recently, Kennedy served as vice president of business development and partner strategy at Oracle Corporation. In this role, he led multiple teams that worked with Oracle’s SaaS cloud partners and consultants.

Also at Oracle, Kennedy served as senior vice president, worldwide alliances and channels; vice president, enterprise support services delivery management; vice president, global platform alliances; and vice president, Intel Technologies Division. Additionally, he acted as NetSuite’s vice president of global system integrators through the company’s acquisition by Oracle. Kennedy also spent several years as a vice president at Microsoft, where he led the go-to-market and business relationships with Microsoft’s Dynamics ERP and CRM partners.

Kennedy comes to Adaptiva as the company continues to grow at a rapid pace, consistently hitting new milestones. The company’s growth trajectory is expected to climb even more sharply with the introduction of a first-of-its-kind complete vulnerability life cycle product, Evolve VM, which automatically assesses endpoints for thousands of vulnerability, compliance, and health issues and instantly remediates them as soon as they are detected. Evolve VM builds on the success of Adaptiva OneSite, a fully automated, self-managing content distribution engine that provides the fastest way to securely distribute software across an enterprise and has gained widespread global adoption. The effectiveness of its single-download solution has been proven in enterprise environments that manage more than 400,000 endpoints and is trusted by many of today’s leading Fortune 1000 organizations.

“Adaptiva has created this incredible, award-winning peer-to-peer technology that is being applied to some of the enterprise’s most pressing and difficult to solve issues,” said Kennedy. “The opportunity to get this technology into the infrastructure of companies throughout the world is very exciting. I look forward to helping Adaptiva gain even broader mindshare and develop strategic relationships with the world’s most selective technology companies.”
