Finding rural broadband suppliers just got easier

Started by Welsh Broadband industry professional Richard Brown (previously a founding director of exwavia Limited), wispa Limited offers any rural resident, throughout the UK, the option to be able to complete a simple form which wispa will process. Once processed the results will be sent back to the user, with a comprehensive list and notes on each of the various options in their area.

Pros and cons of each option will be attached, allowing the user to make an informed decision, rather than perhaps choosing the supplier who had the most publicity.

In a reaction to the 'johnny come latelys' who have started offering broadband services in a reaction to such programs as the Welsh Assembly Government's Broadband Support Scheme, Richard commented:

"There is both confusion and a lack of sound information on how to make a selection by subscribers. Unfortunately, there are way too many vested interests in this industry, and it is getting in the way of allowing people to make solid decisions."

Richard went on to comment:
