  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 17, 2013 - The UK's leading IT graduate employer, FDM Group, has ranked seventh in the leading annual reviews survey of graduate-level employees, with an overall review rating of 4.44/5. Featuring in The JobCrowd's 'Top Companies For Graduates To Work For' 2013/14, FDM has been placed above many internationally recognized companies and high profile graduate employers including Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline and Deloitte.

In the dedicated IT Services and IT Consulting category, FDM was placed second only to Microsoft for a subsequent year.

TheJobCrowd.com asked over 4,000 graduates in their first three years of employment to score their company on a range of criteria including responsibility, progression opportunities, colleague interaction, training, work-life balance and benefits.

This is the third consecutive year that FDM has been featured in the list, which is entirely determined by employee reviews, feedback and experience. Speaking about their time at FDM, one employee said, "It is great to be part of a booming organization. There is a strong focus on career progression at FDM with great opportunities to grow within the company."

FDM's CEO Rod Flavell comments, "FDM's phenomenal success is down to the hard work and commitment of our employees. We pride ourselves on maintaining a professional and motivating environment, where we reward excellent performance."

FDM received an overall rating of 4.58/5 for 'Work-life Balance', with one employee adding, "FDM is filled with hardworking, business-minded individuals who are also extremely friendly. The balance of corporate and social culture here makes FDM a very unique (and fun!) place to work."

FDM is renowned for its award-winning graduate program for which one graduate raved about the "variety" and "excitement" of working on "large projects for important clients at some of the biggest companies in the world", translating to an overall "Enjoyment" rating of 4.58/5.

FDM's Business and Recruitment Manager, Catherine Cheek, said, "We are absolutely delighted with these results. We aim to recruit 1,000 graduates each year and this is certainly encouraging news for us. In a market where graduate jobs can be scarce, competition is high and work experience is crucial, we offer graduates a unique combination of industry training and a minimum of two years' of commercial experience."

FDM's graduate employees are trained for 10-17 weeks at the one of the firm's award-winning academies worldwide. As a trainee, graduates will be trained in one of seven core IT disciplines, including Development, Testing and Project Management, before becoming an FDM IT Consultant and working on site with one or more of FDM's prestigious clients.
