FDM Group appoints new Head of Veteran Initiatives John Tansill

He brings to the role a wealth of experience in both military and civilian working environments, with a proven background of strategic planning and operational development.

    Tansill retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel after having served in both active duty and reserve service for 28 years. His scope of work ranged from service during Desert Shield/Storm to overseeing corporate relations for ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve).

    Prior to joining FDM, Tansill worked on the trade floors at AMEX and NYSE and later the fixed income desk at Cantor Fitzgerald. More recently, he worked as the Chief of Staff at the Coast Guard Headquarters, specifically within their office of Counterterrorism, Port Security, and DoD Policy. Tansill holds his degree in Communications from Seton Hall University, with a focus on Business Management and Public Relations. He was also a member of the Seton Hall basketball team in its entrance into the Big East Conference.
