Eurokids International Launches Its Online Teacher Training Course In India
EuroKids launches 'EuroVarsity', a virtual university aimed at providing programs to develop teaching skill sets.
- (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2013 - Mumbai - On the occasion of Teacher's Day, EuroKids, the preschool specialist and largest education service provider in the preschool segment, added another feather to its cap with the launch of 'EuroVarsity', a virtual university aimed at providing programs to develop teaching skill sets.
The first course offered by EuroVarsity is a certified Teacher Training Course, 'Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education' a unique program for all teachers who have taken responsibility of nurturing and shaping the lives of young children. The course currently will only be available for EuroKids teachers but with its success it will open for all gradually.
Mr Amit Singh, SBU - Head EuroKids, said, "This course aims to provide early childhood professionals an understanding about the uniqueness of early childhood, innovative teaching and learning processes. With an experience of more than 10 years in imparting early childhood education, course members will also gain considerable knowledge from education and academic experts at EuroKids.
The program has been designed keeping in mind the evolving and challenging times in pre-school education. It uses the mode of e-learning, so that that the teacher trainee can learn from home or any other place of their convenience.
The course will be spread across 9 months and it will comprise of 6 programmes dealing with various aspects of child care and education, child development, Preschool organization and administration, curriculum and pedagogy in early child education, creative learning techniques and food and nutrition for young children.
