- (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2010 - Nasik, India - ESDS's research and development team installed the energy-efficient dedicated server environment in a private suite in ESDS's green data center. The innovative server setup is cooled using outside air in a process known as "free cooling" and the cooling is optimized using aisle containment that separates hot and cold air.
Mr. Suhaib Logde, Marketing Manager of ESDS said,"The design of the Total solution is completely different from what is common in the market," It is not a cooling solution with a traditional design, and it is completely different from the current cooling setup at ESDS or other data centers. Mr. Logde said "Green Dedicated Servers are combined with highly efficient hardware results in a server environment that allows the compressor to remain fully switched off throughout the year". The new server environment has undergone extensive testing over the past six months with amazing results.
"Due to our presence at ESDS, we fortunately already have many servers that are quite energy-efficient in their operation, but this separate environment with its own cooling design allows us to achieve significantly higher energy savings".
