  • (1888PressRelease) January 24, 2012 - Cinema is the mirror of the society. The modern day films reflect the cultural and socio-economic background of the people. Public Service Broadcast trust is an initiative by the veteran Filmmakers like Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Fali Nariman , Mrinal Sen etc.

    PSBT seeks to cultivate discourse, create content and establish systems and practices that facilitate public access to the electronic media. The Documentary Workshop organized every year at PSBT ensures the participation and learning of the Film making techniques.

    The students got a chance to interact with the Directors and Documentary Film makers, in view of the commercial production and economic market of the Documentary Productions.

    The trust offers not only quality interactions in the direction but also gives several opportunities to the students and Young filmmaker's tocultivate the true art of Documentaries.

    It is PSBT's objective and mandate to provide space for multiple voices and opinion to be heard and shared. Films are an extremely significant means to raise crucial civil society concerns, to initiate conversations and dialogue, and evolve an involved public discourse around them.
