Covington Who's Who Selects Gregory Griffin as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

The selection recognizes Gregory Griffin's commitment to excellence in Finance, Insurance, and Investments.
Griffin, who holds a BS in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University and MA in Personnel Administration from Indiana University, is currently pursuing certification to become a Retirement Income Certified Professional through American College. He is a registered financial consultant and certified Master Elite IRA Advisor with nearly twenty years experience in his field.
After completing his military service with a rank of lieutenant and pilot for the US Navy in 1994, Griffin went on to pursue a career in finance. He spent his first year as an agent before becoming a district sales manager in charge of all training and development. From there he spent another two years as an equitable advisor selling mutual funds, variable annuities, and variable life insurance before becoming an independent agent.
In his current role, Griffin is mainly in charge of case design, presentation, and sales. He is also the sole speaker of seminars that his organization uses to attract clients to the firm. More recently, his wife April has taken on a majority of the day to day routine activities, including setting appointments, managing the bills, and allowing them to double up on their productivity and set higher standards for next year.
Griffin maintains the essential training that keeps him abreast of the ever changing array of products and regulations via webinars and several annual business conferences to maintain his licenses and designations. He also does a lot of research by reading many business-related books and articles, and taking courses offered at American College.
Inspired by his parents to work hard and create a financially secure future for himself and his family, Griffin's most fulfilling accomplishments come from the client relationships he and his wife have built and the thanks he gets from them for helping them achieve their goals.
"The inspiration to help people started with my parents," Griffin explained. "My father was the proverbial self-made man and my mother can talk to anyone about anything. Together, they were the model parents that everyone liked and wanted to emulate."
Griffin is a member of International Association of Registered Financial Consultants and Series 65 Investment Advisory Representatives.
