  • (1888PressRelease) August 02, 2011 - ITON Corporation, one of the leading technology service providers in Oman, signed an agreement with Microsoft on June 25, 2011, as its first service provider in the Sultanate.

    Comtech Global, the business division of ITON, will be handling all services including Microsoft license leasing, deploying and customization for various products, including Active Directory, Exchange, Forefront, SharePoint, Office 2010 as well as Dynamics CRM and ERP.

    On the commercial front, ITON will be built around providing both cloud and on-premise services to the customers reducing capital expenditure associated with hardware, licensing and support.

    Speaking about the launch of Comtech Global, Shiva Prasad, Founder and Chief Executive of ITON said, "We were able to successfully launch a 30-day risk-free pilot programme for SharePoint and signed up a few customers prior to the event".
