Colombian Songwriter Santiago Palacino Has Caught The Attention Of The Music Industry

(1888PressRelease) June 15, 2011 - With hardly his first single out on the market and without great expectations, the Colombian Singer and songwriter Santiago Palacino claims to be very pleased and surprised with the unanticipated success of his song AMOR VORAZ. Although Santiago has been making music since he was 7 years old, this is the first song that his has made available to de public and was played by most radio stations in his country, Colombia. His song AMOR VORAZ made its way into the charts of cities like Barranquilla, Villavicencio and its video entered the top 50 becoming one of the most aired videos in the music channels of his country.

Using a style which he calls LATIN FUNK, Santiago Palacino assures to have found his genre. "I have always been a fan of rythmical and lively music. I´m a faithful follower of artists like Jason Mraz, John Mayer and Gavin Degraw, among many others." Palacino says. AMOR VORAZ was composed in 2009 while he was living in Panama and somehow he always knew there was something special about that song.

"AMOR VORAZ talks about long distance relationships. It's about the all the passion that you accumulate when you haven´t seen your girlfriend in a long time and the voracious desire that you get when you finally see her again". Due to the great acceptance of his song, Santiago has decided to record a full album which according to him will be ready in the middle of July. "We are going to maintain the same concept, not because it is what has worked for me but because it is what comes out naturally" he said.

Palacino has all his faith and motivation put on this new project. Under the production of Sergio Orejuela and with a repertoire of rhythmical and vigorous songs, SANTIAGO PALACINO feels he is going to be able to conquer the music world.
