  • (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2015 - TESSERACT the award winning - revolutionary multi-axis gaming controller from Cojac Ltd (http://www.Cojac.net) has recently landed on Kickstarter aiming to raise sufficient funding of £70,000 ($105,000) to bring the product to market in the fall of 2016, estimated to be before the end of October. Following a successful campaign the company will be able to commit to shipping their first batch of Tesseract controllers to those who backed the project on Kickstarter.

The Tesseract boasts the ability to fully program up to 5 buttons, allows for motion control between linear and rotational movements simultaneously and all of this control is available for any Windows PC running Windows Vista onwards, up to and including Windows 10 - whilst being completely plug & play through the Tesseract's comprehensive user control panel.

Following the Kickstarter campaign, the Tesseract will be going through a number of changes before arriving on backer's doorsteps. All of these changes come with much promise of a truly revolutionary new device to open up a whole new world of motion control for gamers as well as opening new doors for developers.

Some of the changes planned include:
    • Ergonomic design - Sculpting the Tesseract's shape and build to make it an even more perfect fit
    • Making the aesthetics cooler - using LED's and nice finish materials to ensure Tesseract looks the part
    • Adding more programmable buttons - ensuring they are positioned with performance in mind
    • The ability to carry two on board profiles at any one time and switch on the go

With much more in the pipeline, the Tesseract is sure to be a hit with gamers everywhere.
Rodney Jackson - Managing Director of the company along with CEO Eric Elms gave the following statement following the launch of their Kickstarter campaign.

"The Tesseract isn't something we came up with overnight - it has been an on-going project for many years and it has been through many highs and lows. After recently displaying the Tesseract to the public at an exhibition in Manchester England and hiring an in-house testing team full of gamers, we've decided that Tesseract is at a level where it really is an amazing and revolutionary product for motion control. Especially when paired with virtual reality headsets - our controller allows for a much more immersive and intuitive experience than that of other traditional controller set ups."

The Tesseract has proved favourable among hundreds of gamers in the UK, most recently at Replay Events most recent gathering PLAY Expo Manchester (http://www.cojac.net/articles/tesseract-at-play-expo).

Since launching their social media campaign less than two months ago, Cojac's Tesseract social handles have gathered a huge response, with thousands of interactions between gamers and the content put out by the team at Tesseract.

The Tesseract however isn't just a gaming peripheral. The team behind Tesseract have also use it for actions such as 3D CAD and piloting UAV's. Pairing the Tesseract with a drone bought commercially, the team managed to gain extremely precise control over the drone, being able to pilot it better than with the conventional device which is a mobile phone.

You can pick up a Tesseract for £79 ($120) if you are within the first 250 backers on Kickstarter; this backer reward includes the following: 1 Tesseract with exclusive Kickstarter packaging, 1 exclusive Kickstarter T-Shirt and Wristband, a hand signed certificate of 'Backership' and inclusion within the products online hall of fame - plus a social media shout-out through a dedicated YouTube video.
