  • Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2019 - CCE, a leading provider of advanced CAD interoperability technology, announced some significant milestones for its free CAD viewer product, EnSuite-View.

EnSuite-View has surpassed over 50,000 downloads. Using this viewer, people have viewed in excess of 120,000 CAD files from all major CAD formats, including CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3DXML), SOLIDWORKS, NX, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Edge and JT among others. EnSuite-View uses CCE’s proprietary CAD interoperability technology that is currently being licensed by leading CAD/CAM Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

“The milestones we hit with EnSuite-View are staggering. We are very proud that we have been able to democratize CAD across the enterprise and empower all users to have free access to 3D CAD viewing technology. EnSuite-View has also served as a great way for us to showcase the underlying robust interoperability technology that we have been licensing very successfully to all top tier CAD/CAM ISVs,” said Vinay Wagle, CCE’s V.P. of Sales & Marketing.

Besides free CAD viewers, EnSuite-View also allows the ability to export files to neutral formats like IGES and STEP or to 3D PDF. It also includes several productivity tools for measurement, bounding box, model comparison, and shrinkwrap among others.

EnSuite-View also has rave reviews on platforms like Capterra. One recent review from an Automotive Executive reads “My overall experience with EnSuite is a good one. Like I mentioned, the ease of use for a non-CAD professional and the ability to translate multiple CAD file types makes this program very versatile and an extremely useful tool in my business. As a VP of my company, I am not in the "trenches" of using CAD software. I use this software to view CAD files of incoming RFQs, get box dimensions and take a general view of the part and feasibility before the design guys get it. What I like most about this software is the ease of use for someone who is not a CAD/CAM professional and the ability to easily save CAD files as different types.”

EnSuite-View can be downloaded for free for all users. It is however just one of many end-user products in CCE’s portfolio. Paid options like EnSuite-Lite and EnSuite are also available offering additional premium functionality like translators to native file formats (CATIA V5, SOLIDWORKS, NX, JT…) as well as batch translation for bulk conversions.
