  • (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2011 - Atlanta, GA - Now Playing band is set to release its upcoming self titled album on July 26th. Dave Levene, along with writing partner Juan D'Aliaga, and songwriting partner Dale Lawrence have completed their collaboration and are ready to share their music; however, one thing halts their journey. Unable to decide on an album cover, the guys have decided to seek the help of their new fans to decide for them, thus the announcement of the "Decide Our Fate" cover art contest.

    The contest allows you to get a free download and the chance to win the title of "Album Art Consultant" on the new Now Playing album. The "Decide Our Fate" contest runs from May 16th - June 30th.     A musical virtuoso, Dave Levene began his musical career in the late country of Peru where he met writing partner Juan D'Aliaga. Starting off in the well known band 'Laghonia', mixing psychedelic sounds with Santana like rock riffs, Laghonia made its mark within Peru until the band broke up. Now residing in the US, Dave runs Big Sound Productions, a professional recording studio, mastering studio, and artist development center. Collaborating with both Juan and Dale on the latest project, which is very personal to all three of them, Now Playing might remind a listener of perhaps Arctic Monkeys or Weezer with a retro edge ala the sound of the Beatles.
