After realizing there was a huge void in the marketplace for the 37% of women who wear size 9 or above shoe, Carmichael decided to raise awareness while also raising funds to open her own business.
That void, says Carmichael, is a "lack of selection, lack of style and lack of variety for women who leave a larger footprint." Having been tolerant of the size discrimination for far too long,
"IT'S TIME WE TAKE A STAND. NO LONGER SETTLING FOR BEING CATALOG QUEENS WITH THE OPTION FOR FREE RETURN," she said.
Finding the perfect shoe for that new outfit or that special occasion has always been important to women of all ages, regardless of her shoe size. However, women who wear larger size shoes have often found it difficult to find a broad selection of shoes in the latest styles and fashions.
Calee's Shoes will be a great solution, offering stylish shoes in a variety of colors and sizes.
