  • (1888PressRelease) September 16, 2017 - Co-founders of start-up property platform, BricksandAgent.com, Rafael Niesten and Jon Stul are serving one lucky tertiary student the chance to receive $1000 to put towards education or innovative concepts.

The entrepreneurial duo who have successfully launched and sold previous companies have created a platform that matches vendors with local real estate agents.

The software is “disrupting the traditional business model of how real estate agents do business with vendors. For the first time, the power is in the vendor’s hands”.

This idea was built out of personal frustration, and in December 2016 the idea was born in a garage. “Innovative ideas can come in the most obvious places,” says co-founder Rafael Niesten.

They believe the future of startup innovation needs to be nurtured and the Bricks + Agent Scholarship for Young Entrepreneurs was developed to recognize young leaders and creative thinkers, offering $1000 to a high achieving or innovative student to support them in their future studies and ideas.

To be considered students are required to submit their current academic transcript and a 500 word or less response, detailing their achievements and what entrepreneurial leader with their field of study inspires them.

Students should send their submission to scholarships ( @ ) bricksandagent dot com

Bricks + Agent came about almost in a gestational sense when the founders, Rafael Niesten and Jon Stul met as five-year-old school boys, they stayed best friends, sharing the various stages of life, from graduation, to work, marriage and families, buying homes and all that goes with life’s milestones.
