Brazilian Producer Mario Filho Releases First Teaser For His Feature Film "Joint Pains"

  • (1888PressRelease) September 24, 2010 - Mario Filho is proud to announce the launch of the first teaser for the feature film "Joint Pains" ("Dores Comuns" in Brazil). You can watch it at http://www.dorescomuns.com.br. The teaser will be used to promote the film in the social networks and websites.

    This alternative film project has its crew composed only by volunteers and follows Robert Rodriguez "El Mariachi" micro budget model, almost inexistent in brazilian film industry.

    "Funding a micro budget movie in Brazil is a tough task", said Mario Filho, who wrote and is directing the movie. "I want to show that we can make an astonishing film without depending on bureaucratic processes and government grants".

    "Dores Comuns" (or "Joint Pains", english title) tells the story of Marcos, who start living in a square after losing his wife in a fatal accident. Antonio, an old man that looks for the missing son befriend Marcos and helps him to overcome the death of his wife. In the same square lives Froid, an schizophrenic beggar, troubled by strong hallucinations, whose origins are unknown.
