The Boulder Tech Job Fair will also feature several valuable resources to both participating employers and attendees. SkyBio from Spigots Labs will be introduced as a new way for attendees and employers to connect during the event. Attendees will register and upload their resume in advance, and will tap a unique card at the job fair to digitally transfer their information in place of a paper resume. Instantaneously, employers can view the employee's information on their smart device or laptop, saving time and paper. Job fair attendees are strongly encouraged to register at spigotlabs.com/register.

In addition, Dr. Catherine Ashcraft and Dr. Wendy DuBow from the National Center for Women & IT (NCWIT) will deliver a presentation to participating employers on the hidden barriers that may often prevent their companies from hiring top talent. They will discuss how companies can effectively address these barriers in order to better attract and retain the diverse talent that will drive future innovation and provide practical resources to implement these strategies.

In addition to the NCWIT presentation, Greyzone Mentoring will have professionals on hand to help job seekers polish their elevator pitches before meeting employers, Built in Colorado will provide information about how to tap into our communities' robust startup scene, and Groundwork will be presenting employers with their system for interactive and role-playing interview strategies to improve the hiring process.
