Gilmore, Adjunct Professor at Lampasas County Higher Education Center (LCHEC), has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Ann E. Gilmore's commitment to excellence in Higher Education.

    Gilmore, who has spent her entire career pursuing cutting-edge technology and applying her research in her field, began working as a business analyst and consultant in the private sector in the mortgage industry, banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, power generation and aerospace. She has worked with both NASA and the US Military. She currently holds five degrees, including a BA in Education from the University of Central Florida, a BS in Manufacturing Engineering and an MBA from SUNY, a BA in Economics from Immaculata University, and an MEd from Pennsylvania State University.

    Presently teaching computer courses at LCHEC, Gilmore credits her solid background in project management, information systems and records management, configuration and change management, life cycle methodologies, gap and risk analysis, amongst a host of other experience to her education and teaching experience. Her inquisitive nature, balanced with a curious drive to continue learning, has also helped her obtain her lifelong achievements in both business and education.

    "I have always considered my career to be a lifelong adventure and could hardly wait to get started," Gilmore explained. "My adventure began when I was old enough to get my first challenging job, and it has helped me focus on both my previous and present paths, which still motivate me today."

    Hoping to continue her research and career in teaching, Gilmore may consider furthering her education as well. She currently sits on the board of the Keystone Square Museum and is a member of the Project Management Institute and Information Systems Audit and Control Association. She's the recipient of a Technical Excellence Award and Significant Contributor Award from GE and NASA.
