  • Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) July 22, 2010 - More than 25 nominees will be celebrated at the Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's (AGLCC) 2010 Community Awards Dinner.

    "The AGLCC was the first recognized Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce in the U.S., " said Ted Bruner AGLCC president. " Our organization believes in marking milestones and will honor Atlanta's most progressive leaders."

    Held August 20 at the W Atlanta Midtown, the 2010 Community Awards Dinner features a silent auction, reception and dinner. VIP tickets are $130 and $99 for General Admission. The hotel is offering dinner attendees a special nightly rate of $129; tickets can be purchased in advance at www.atlantagaychamber.org.     The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce's prime purpose is advocating equality though economics. Since 1988, the organization has successfully championed several issues and represents more than 350 business members reaching over 3000 employees.
