"The UnProtected" is one of three finalists selected in the Branded Entertainment category.

In the five-part Webisodic series, AppSec's "The UnProtected" highlights real world database security, risk and compliance issues that enterprise organizations face every day. "The UnProtected" tells the story of Greencrest Financial, a financial services firm that must achieve compliance by the end of the quarter. Unfortunately, not only is Greencrest failing its audit, but to make matters worse, the firm's credit card table is suddenly hacked, compromising tens of thousands of sensitive customer records.

"'The Unprotected' was selected as a NextTV finalist by NATPE's panel of industry judges based on creativity, innovation, relationship to category, and overall execution, said Jack Sullivan, new media producer / Web content manager, NATPE. "We had over 75 entries in each category, and believe the top three finalists in each category are representative of the "best of the best" in web content being produced today."
