Organized by Nikkei Inc. since 1999, the annual event gathers experts in various smart card and RFID industries from around the world and gives them a unique platform to display their latest innovations to various industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, service providers, retailers, solution houses and end-users. For its 12th edition, IC Card World was aimed at promoting Japan's smart card and RFID infrastructure to the international scene. The four-day event covered a wide range of exhibits, namely, Smart Cards, RFID Technology, Machinery, Software, Components, Applications and Other Services.
