"Cinderella" Production Comes Home for Raleigh Little Theatre's 75th Anniversary
Raleigh Little Theatre to present Cinderella for their 75th anniversary.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2010 - Raleigh Little Theatre is excited to announce the 27th annual production of the classic fairy tale, Cinderella, December 10-19. This local favorite has been performed in downtown Raleigh for the last several years but as part of RLT's 75th anniversary celebration Cinderella will return home to be performed in the Cantey V. Sutton Main Stage Theatre. Directed by Haskell Fitz-Simmons, this adaptation by Jim Eiler with music composition by Jim Eiler and Jeanne Bargy is based on the beloved fairy tale by Charles Perrault and will surely prove once again that dreams really can come true.
Join Cinderella, the beautiful young woman who triumphs over her spiteful stepmother and stepsisters and finds her prince charming with help from her zany fairy godmother. Be a part of the trip to the royal ball in an enchanted coach and the adventures that lead to the missing glass slipper. The music, the elegant costumes and the magical scenery will surely delight audiences of all ages looking for holiday cheer.
