The Council directs the activities of the Borough of Lansdowne, located in Delaware County, Pa. Saylor's four-year term will begin on Jan. 3, 2012. In addition to directing the day-to-day activities of Lansdowne, the seven-member Council appoints a solicitor and engineer, as well as members of the town's administrative boards and commissions, including the Board of Health and the Planning Commission.
