Beach, Navy Commander, Associate Director of Clinical Support Services for the Navy Hospital, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Lynn L. Beach's commitment to excellence in the Military and US Government.

Beach, who holds a BA in Biology from Augustana College, followed by an MD from Southern Illinois University, completed her residency in pathology in 1999 at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia before transferring to her first assignment as a pathologist with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.

While completing two fellowships for the Department of Cardiovascular Pathology and for the Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner in forensic pathology, Beach assisted in numerous medical examiner investigations for the US Navy. She later transferred to Pensacola Naval Hospital as a staff pathologist in 2001, quickly immersing herself in operational medicine by being assigned as Director for Ancillary Services for Fleet Hospital Pensacola. She went to take on numerous other positions, including laboratory department head and medical director. "I have had excellent mentors in both pathology and in Naval leadership," she said in relation to her success in all her professional endeavors thus far. "I love my job. There is a great sense of pride and achievement to support our forward deployed members and their families."

Planning on continuing to serve the needs of the US Navy, Beach has just been selected for the Director of Clinical Support Services position at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and will attain the rank of Captain in February.
