Bayer CropScience Donates $148,895 To Passage Home

The donation will build upon and expand Passage Home's partnership with Bayer CropScience that focuses on the Safety Club science and technology enrichment program for after school elementary and middle school youth. Throughout the year, Bayer CropScience's donation supports Passage Home events.

    This month, Passage Home is hosting The Queen Foundation's "I Am Queen" program for girls ages 13 to 18, with the support of Bayer CropScience. The program includes workshops each weekend in January and a culminating retreat weekend on Friday, Jan. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 23 at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. The program is comprised of six workshops defining the characteristics of a queen: beauty, character, talent, confidence, accountability and vision. The "I AM Queen" was established in 2008, and in 2010 the program attracted more than 500 young women.
