  • Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2016 - B&B Franchise Group, developer and franchisor of Burger & Beer Joint restaurants, has announced that private equity firm Larsen MacColl Partners has invested alongside chief executive Bill Herman to continue to develop the brand throughout the United States and internationally.

Managing partner Jeff Larsen said, "We are thrilled to partner with Bill in the future of Burger & Beer Joint. It is a fantastic brand and, more importantly, Bill is a skilled and experienced leader."

The seven-unit restaurant chain has plans to open 15 locations over the next four years including Florida, Texas, California, Washington, D.C., and other cities across the northern and southeastern United States. In addition, B&B has plans to grow internationally with area developers. Burger & Beer Joint is a full-service gourmet burger sports restaurant with a rock and roll theme. There are currently six locations in Florida (South Beach, Mary Brickell Village, Dolphin Mall, Pembroke Pines, West Palm Beach, Sarasota) and one location in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"With the help of Larsen MacColl, we are able to aggressively seek out potential franchisees in our targeted geographic locations," said Herman."We offer our franchise partners a solid, proven concept with full corporate support, from site selection to management training, construction liaison, IT, marketing and operations support. We have aggressive plans for the expansion of the B&B brand both nationally and internationally."

Burger & Beer Joint launched in South Beach in 2009 and became an instant hit. The restaurant offers a gourmet, full-service sports-themed concept in an energetic fun atmosphere with a rock and roll vibe, along with a full bar including more than 75 beers.

The signature burgers offer unique sauces and toppings; and all are named after a rock and roll song including the Mustang Sally, Hotel California and Thunder Road. B&B is famous for its 10-pound Mother Burger, which gained national attention when Travel Channel's Adam Richman from "Man v. Food" recognized the gigantic burger on one of it's episodes. Most of the B&B gourmet burgers are a blend of premium Angus beef and brisket. Other menu items include Ahi Tuna Tacos, fried Twinkies® with ice cream, fried zucchini fries and adult milkshakes. The restaurant also offers light fare options including seafood, chicken and salads.
