  • Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) September 13, 2018 - The name 'Project Cayley' comes from Sir George Cayley. The "Father of Aeronautics", he had thought of the original idea for an aircraft- nearly a century before the Wright Brother's first flight! He is the perfect example of doing the unthinkable. The project encourages kids from every background to go out, do something different, and lead the world into the future- like Sir Cayley did.

In the year 2020, Bella Ruiz will begin an around-the-world trip to promote futures in aviation and and help the next generation believe in the impossible. Bella Ruiz is a first generation of immigrant parents and the first pilot in her family. She attends Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University through the Move-on-When Ready high school program.

"Flying has, in a few words, changed my life. Through the hard times in life I have relied on the peace and satisfaction flying gives me. Through dedication and hard work, I have really found myself there. It feels almost selfish to keep this to myself. In fact, I think every kid deserves a chance to see if flying is where they find themselves. Maybe, like me, that's all they need."

The project is well underway, however, progress cannot be made without support from generous people.
