  • Sacramento, CA (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2010 - WyoTech-Sacramento added a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) program to meet workforce demands. WyoTech's nine-month HVAC diploma program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to specialize in the HVAC industry. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers is projected to increase 28 percent during the 2008-18 decade - much faster than the average projected increase for all occupations.

    Successful program graduates can seek employment as entry-level technicians in the HVAC field such as Furnace Install and Repair Apprentice, A/C Mechanic Apprentice, or Sheet Metal Fabrication Apprentice.
