Wrap up of the Vedic Math Competition 2012
Math Monkey (Hong Kong) Limited and Vedic Math Hong Kong Association are pleased to announce that Vedic Math Competition 2011 and Awarding Ceremony was successfully held on November 25 at the Hall of CITA.
- (1888PressRelease) November 28, 2012 - There were about 100 participants in the competition. All participants were awarded Participation Certificates at stage. 14 participants got Third Class Award, 19 for Second Class Award, 21 for the First Class Award in six levels and we have six Champions.
Cheung Shun Him (from Math Monkey Kowloon Bay Center) is the champion in Green Monkey level. Terry Zeng (from Math Monkey Kowloon Bay Center) is the champion in Lemur level. Kinki Wong Yee Kiu (from Math Monkey Tsuen Wan Center) is the champion in Chimpanzee level. Kara Kwong (from Math Monkey Kowloon Bay Center) is the champion in Orangutan level. Edwin Tang Yiu Nam (from Math Monkey Tsuen Wan Center) is the champion in Baboon level. Kevina Kwong (from Math Monkey Kowloon Bay Center) is the champion in Gorilla level.
Our guest speaker Mr Ricky Chan is a certified as Brain-Based Trainer by Jensen Learning Cooperation and he was recognized as a "Habits of Mind" Trainer in Hong Kong by Professor Arthur Costa. Ricky shared with us on how to raise a child's self-discipline of thinking and math ability. Everybody enjoys his seminar and this needs to extend to about one and half to finish.
