  • (1888PressRelease) December 04, 2010 - With this award received in the organization honoring the best in the world in communication, Türk Telekom has added yet another one to its international awards. The I Can Football game, developed by the Group company Sobee in line with Türk Telekom's convergence strategy, was awarded for live broadcast on TV, communication activities for the project, and the convergence technologies used while offering the game to customers.

    Stating that World Communication Awards are the success of the convergence strategy implemented in parallel to the fast development of the global communication industry, Türk Telekom CEO K. Gökhan Bozkurt said: "While the global communication industry rapidly moves towards convergence technologies which enable offering different transmission technologies for voice, data, and videos over a single platform, we have undertaken leadership in this area. We focus on creating value for our customers with the products and services we delevop for this purpose. Elected as the Best Fixed Operator of 2010 by SAMENA Telecommunications Council, which continues its operations in Dubai and honors the successful and innovative companies in different categories in the South Asia, Middle East, and North Africa telecommunications industries, Türk Telekom has most recently received the "Best Innovation" award with its Vitamin Bağışı educational support project in UK's most prestigious Best Business Awards.
