Pleasant store will have Miller from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Nation from 2 to 5 p.m. The West Ashley store will have Nation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Miller from 2 to 5 p.m. Wonder Works features Tate Nation's Charleston-inspired paintings as jigsaw puzzles and carries Jonathan Miller's popular book series The Adventures of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund. This is the last chance locals will have to get their books and puzzles personally autographed at the Wonder Works stores before Christmas. Pet Helpers will be at the Mt. Pleasant store the entire day for puppy and kitten adoptions.

"Tate Nation and Jonathan Miller don't simply create books and puzzles, they create masterpieces. We are so excited to have them in our store," said Osborne. "These books and puzzles are wonderful Charleston originals. There will be no other present like it underneath the Christmas tree! I'm also very excited to have Pet Helpers at our Mt. Pleasant store. A puppy or kitten is always on a child's wish list for Christmas!"

Miller is the local author and illustrator for the book series The Adventures of Sammy the Wonder Dachshund. Miller specially crafts each illustration with multiple layers of construction paper, taking him between 48-60 hours to complete each page. The series includes a signature Charleston book titled Sammy's Last Week in Charleston.

Nation is an acclaimed artist known for his colorful and vibrant patterns and picturesque paintings. Wonder Works carries his artwork in the form of puzzles, including the newest addition "Old Village." Nation's artwork has been featured at Piccolo Spoleto, The Art Institute of Charleston, Gibbes Museum and more.

Wonder Works was featured in the 2011 December issue of Southern Living magazine for the stores' warm nature and "Local Wonderz" section, which carries locally made art, books and gifts. Both Nation and Miller's work is highlighted in this area of the stores.

To meet the artist and author, visit Wonder Works West Ashley, located at 975 Savannah Hwy on Saturday, Dec. 17 and Wonder Works Mt.
