Winners Announced for the "East Midlands Young Open"

H Squared are excited to announce the winners for the "East Midlands Young Open" awards. Three winners have been selected from a group of roughly 50 applicants across three age categories. End Quote

(1888PressRelease) July 25, 2013 - H Squared Ltd are proud to be a sponsor of the "East Midlands Young Open" which is a charity funded initiative to stimulate and promote creative activities for young people in the East Midlands. The event is organised by partners Creative Hinckley and Charnwood Arts and has created an exciting opportunity for young creatives to gain exposure and experience.

The project itself invited young people across the whole of the East Midlands to enter their creative work for exhibition. Entries have been separated across 3 age categories from 8 to 19 years and displayed at Creative Hinckley's gallery in Leicestershire. The exhibition will last until 2nd August 2013.

In addition to the exposure and experience gained from exhibiting their work, winners are also to be awarded with £900 in cash prizes and a placement opportunity at H Squared's retail design studio.

After reviewing the work of roughly 50 applicants, the winners were announced last week and include Samuel Shelton, Lauren Stewart and Ellesia Burton. The three winners will be invited to work at H Squared Ltd, a Leicestershire retail design agency, for a summer placement with a focus on design and creativity.
