  • Oakland, CA (1888PressRelease) November 29, 2012 - Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP Partner Tracy Green was elected to the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum. She will serve a three-year term that began on Nov. 27.

    The Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum disseminates information, provides public service and educates and promotes cooperation and efficiency in the bankruptcy and insolvency fields in the greater Bay Area. The Forum holds frequent seminars and dinner discussions to inform its members on current topics in the field, as well as to provide networking opportunities.

    As a partner in Wendel Rosen's bankruptcy practice, Green represents debtor, creditors' committee, creditor and trustee clients in all aspects of their dealings with financially troubled companies. Her experience includes Chapter 11 reorganizations and liquidations, out-of-court work outs, buying and selling assets, assignment for the benefit of creditors, avoidance actions and Chapter 7 liquidations. Active in the legal community, Green currently serves as chair of the Bench Bar Liaison Committee, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California, and is a member of the Bankruptcy Dispute Resolution Panel and California Women Lawyers.

    Green earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law (1984) and her B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1979).
