    Palmer's legal advocacy on behalf of families extends beyond the law firm walls. She serves as a Pro Tem Judge in the Alameda County Superior Court Probate Department and is a court-appointed guardian ad litem for minor children and incapacitated adults. A fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Council, Palmer also mediates matters in her areas of expertise.

    A sought-after lecturer and author on estate planning topics, Palmer has spoken extensively in front of legal and corporate audiences throughout the West Coast. She has been selected for inclusion in Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine every year since 2004. Palmer earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law (1980) and her B.A. from California State University at San Francisco (1975).
