Weber Marketing Group Leads Branding and Renaming Efforts for Merger of Yakima Valley and Catholic Credit Union

Weber Marketing Group, a Seattle-based strategic branding and marketing firm focused on the financial industry, worked with both credit unions to develop the Solarity name and transformational brand.
"Bringing the two credit unions together from development to execution was an exciting, collaborative process," said Weber Marketing Group's Senior Account Manager Ruth Kapcia. "We spent six months guiding the executives and staff through several stages of the process. This included strategy, branding and naming workshops to better understand the combined credit unions and the direction they wanted to go. Our goal was to help them tell the story of how great they are together with a focus on what was best for their members and community."

Mina Worthington, president and CEO of Yakima Valley Credit Union will move forward as the new president and CEO of the combined institutions. Solarity's new logo will debut over the next few months on debit and credit cards, checks, and throughout their branches.
