  • Kansas City, MO-KS (1888PressRelease) March 17, 2011 - Eddie the Elite Mover is not a well known name, in fact, few people outside of Elite Moving Labor have heard of him. But soon Eddie will be much more popular, visiting local events in the Kansas City area, taking photos with children during their family move and even posting status updates on Facebook.

Created by local owner Shawnn Lampson, Eddie was designed to showcase the experience Elite Moving Labor provides. His muscular arms, clean shaven appearance and friendly face immediately communicate with potential customers. "Our movers are not just great at moving furniture, they are also friendly and like to talk with customers while on site", comments Shawnn Lampson. "There are many negative perceptions about movers, our goal is to change that one family at a time".

The "good guy" appeal is not all Shawnn Lampson has to offer potential customers, the majority of movers employed are also firefighters. "Many customers we talk to are surprised at just how well the movers performed. They expect them to be less efficient or know less than full time movers, many times it's exactly the opposite", remarks Brandon Scivolette of the Kansas City staff. "Eddie is going to be the public face and personality behind Elite Moving Labor, we hope that his image can instantly communicate the quality of our brand and staff with customers."

Although a schedule has not been made public, Eddie the Elite Mover will be making appearances at local events throughout the summer. Additionally, families with children that move with Elite Moving Labor in the Kansas City area will be able to take pictures with Eddie before their move begins.
