  • Atlantic City, NJ (1888PressRelease) July 07, 2010 - Wall Towne Center is once again 100% leased with the addition of Pet Valu and Great Clips and a key expansion by Wine King, announced Levin Management Corporation, retail leasing and managing agent for the 91,000-square-foot property. The three transactions have refilled a 5,000-square-foot endcap vacancy created by the departure of a national video rental store.

"This is a very well-located space in an excellent center in a strong market," said Ethan Goldsmith, leasing representative for Levin Management, "but there are not a lot of 5,000-square-foot users out there right now. Wine King had expressed an interest in expanding its existing space in the center, and that set the stage for us to complete this group of transactions."

Wine King, which had previously occupied 4,800 square feet, expanded by 1,600 to a total of 6,400 square feet. Pet Valu, represented by Neil Goldstein of The Goldstein Group, signed a new lease for 2,200 square feet, and Great Clips accounted for the remaining 1,200 square feet of the high-visibility endcap. They complete a tenant roster anchored by a very popular 63,000-square-foot ShopRite supermarket. Other tenants include GNC, The UPS Store, AT&T Wireless, Allstate Insurance, Ocean State Bank, and a strong complement of local restaurants and service providers.

"We're pleased to have been able to refill the space with tenants who give our tenant mix even more consumer appeal than before," Goldsmith said.

Located on heavily traveled Route 34 near the intersection of Routes 35 and 70 in Monmouth County, Wall Towne Center has a five-mile population of nearly 134,500 with a median household income of $74,258 and an average household income of more than $93,000. The daily traffic count is 71,000 vehicles.

Levin currently maintains a growing portfolio of more than 90 diverse retail properties totaling 12.5 million square feet. Properties range from downtown stores to lifestyle centers, and from neighborhood and community centers to power centers in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Levin offers a full range of services for its clients, including leasing, property management, accounting, construction management, marketing and risk management.
