  • Winchester, VA-WV (1888PressRelease) July 30, 2012 - Robert T. Criner, president of Criner Remodeling, will celebrate the company's 35th year in business this year. Originally the sole member of the company, Criner now works with a team of 11 contracting professionals who offer their services in remodeling to the community. The company recently acquired a new office building with plans to move into it shortly after remodeling concludes in the next few months.

    Criner has been personally involved in the local community for many years, serving on the board of directors for charitable organization the American Red Cross of Hampton Roads. He also serves on the board for the Peninsula Remodelers Council, supporting projects such as Remodel Mania that offer construction and home remodeling services to local families and households in need, a project that Criner personally helped to fund by donating to purchase supplies. Criner previously served as president of the PRC for three separate years.

    Criner is also the vice chairman of the York County Board of Zoning Appeals and currently serves as a member of the York County Board of Building Codes. He serves as an advisor to the Peninsula Habitat for Humanity and contributes personally by donating cabinets, fixtures and materials from his company.
