Vertex Launches Technically Advanced Mobile Jaw Crusher for Global Operations

Vertex Bergbaumaschinen has launched a new mobile jaw crusher featuring advanced hydraulics, dual power control, and heavy-duty crawler systems, designed for efficient, emission-compliant performance in global quarrying and mining operations.
- (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2025 - Vertex Bergbaumaschinen today announced the official launch of its latest generation mobile jaw crusher, featuring a series of engineering upgrades aimed at improving performance, reliability, and field adaptability for quarrying, mining, and construction operations worldwide.
At the core of the machine is a 7m³ capacity receiving hopper equipped with hydraulic folding, automatic frequency conversion feeding, and a durable steel plate welding structure. The vibrating feeder includes a complete pre-screening system with manual control options, offering increased flexibility during operation.
The crushing system is powered by a Volvo engine combined with a Stanford generator. High-performance hydraulic functionality is supported by German-imported Rexroth plunger pumps and proportional valves, ensuring consistent output under heavy-duty conditions. These components comply with National III emission standards, highlighting Vertex’s commitment to sustainable equipment development.
To ensure operational control and safety, the machine is equipped with an advanced electric control cabinet. It supports frequency conversion start and proportional regulation, and includes both wireless and wired remote control options. An ABB dual power switch system allows seamless transitions between power sources, with the cabinet offering IP55-rated protection against dust and vibration.
A significant structural upgrade is evident in the crawler system. The assembled heavy-duty undercarriage—imported from the UK—provides a load capacity of up to 52 tons. The “soft start” double-speed crawler ensures low deviation and stable mobility, even on uneven or inclined terrain. The robust frame uses a thick load-bearing structure with reinforced flange joints to ensure longevity under continuous strain.
Additional functional components include a 1000mm wide finished product conveyor with segmented folding and a discharge height of 3.4 meters. The integrated iron separation device features an 800mm band, permanent magnet self-unloading type, and standard belt armor, offering effective metal removal during processing. A symmetrical galvanized walkway design improves accessibility for maintenance and inspection on both sides of the machine.
Despite its heavy-duty capabilities, the machine maintains transport efficiency with a footprint of 17.3 meters in length, 5.8 meters in width, and a height of 4.5 meters. Its compact design ensures compliance with global transportation standards while delivering industrial-level capacity in the field.
