  • (1888PressRelease) June 14, 2025 - Vertex Bergbaumaschinen today announced the rollout of its new Remote Monitoring System, developed to provide real-time oversight of crushing equipment performance in quarrying, mining, and construction environments. The system integrates seamlessly with Vertex’s mobile and stationary crushers, enabling operators to monitor key metrics remotely and respond to operational issues proactively.

The platform collects and transmits live data, including engine status, throughput rates, temperature fluctuations, and hydraulic pressure levels. Using encrypted 4G connectivity, the system offers secure cloud-based access for managers and technicians, whether on-site or off-site.

Designed to support predictive maintenance strategies, the Remote Monitoring System issues alerts based on trend analysis and predefined thresholds. This allows users to reduce downtime, schedule service with precision, and extend equipment lifespan.

“Our development team focused on creating a tool that enhances operational visibility without adding complexity,” said Tina Krämer, After-Sales Director at Vertex. “The result is a system that supports efficient fleet management across remote or multi-site operations.”

The system is compatible with current-generation Vertex models, including the VCJ1060x700 and VCI1213RS2, and is now standard on selected units. Optional retrofitting kits are also available for existing customers.

According to COO James Lau, “This step is aligned with Vertex’s long-term commitment to digital transformation and customer-centered innovation. Field operators need reliable tools that deliver performance insights in real time, and this platform answers that need.”

The Remote Monitoring System is now available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with rollout to additional markets expected in Q4.
